Bharatanatyam Dancer Class

An appreciation and understanding of our Indian artistic heritage in young artists, provide them with a comprehensive dance education in Bharatnatyam and create opportunities for them to develop and perform. The curriculum is grounded in rigorous fundamental training and physical discipline while weaving in age-appropriate refinement of abhinaya and an emphasis on individualistic self-expression. Through years of training, students will progress from learning basic adavus to complex compositions, culminating in their arrangetram. Post-arrangetram, students will learn nattuvangam technique, expand their dance repertoire, and participate in solo and group choreographies.
